Pagi terakhir di 2011 saya pergi ke pasar favorit
untuk membeli peralatan dan bahan untuk persiapan
pesta tahun baru di tempat kos kami. Walaupun kami
tidak mendapatkan semua yang kami butuhkan,
namun saya sendiri pulang dengan semua barang-barang
cantik buatan Cina ini. Berangkat niatnya beli apa,
pulang membeli apa saja. Selamat tahun baru,
mari wujudkan ide-ide baru tahun ini.

Findings from my favorite craft and art supply market
where me and one of my housemate were looking
for our new year eve's party materials and had a
breakfast. Not that we used these but I was so happy
to find them since I've been thinking to start collect
them lately. Oh and happy new year, peeps!

Elope With Envelope Series

Saya membuat salah satu karya ini saat sedang workshop
di Bali hari Minggu lalu. Lalu karya keduanya selesai
kemarin. Jadi sekarang saya sedang ingin sekali membuat
lebih banyak karya dengan menggunakan amplop coklat
sebagai bahan sadarnya.

I finished the first piece during a workshop in Bali
last Sunday then finished another one yesterday.
I really really love the brown envelope as the back
ground of the collage. And what do you think about
the title of this series?

A Shoe Maker Shop

Saya tidak pernah ke sebuah toko sepatu dalam artian toko
pembuat sepatu hingga minggu lalu. Sebuah toko sepatu dan
tas kulit imitasi kecil di sebuah jalan berkelok. Luar biasa
sekali isinya ternyata dan saya jadi ingin pergi ke pembuat-
pembuat sepatu lainnya disini.

I have never been to any shoe maker shop before and how I
love everything about it! The tools, the machines, the fake
leather, the workers and all those piles and piles of wood
feet forms!
