Saya memang beruntung sekali karena dikelilingi
oleh orang-orang yang memiliki kemampuan untuk
membuat berbagai macam barang dan benda dengan
tangan mereka. Ini salah satu hari yang saya habiskan
bersama sahabat saya saat dia membuat poster untuk
pengumpulan dana di kampusnya.

I always wish to learn silk screening on paper just like
one of my bestie do. This is from spending all day at
his place helping him making some silk screen posters
for his campus benefit. Rad, right?

(I'm a headmistress of this free photography

school since a month ago), a male magazine

that I'm involved in and also in preparation of

my solo exhibition on October. Forgive my

workshop I made in a friend's bookshop last Saturday.

me and workshop: Halloween Mask!

Saya senang sekali karena mulai bulan ini sampai
Desember saya bersama toko buku Aksara akan
membuat kelas kerajinan tangan buat anak-anak
di beberapa toko mereka di Jakarta. Untuk bulan
ini kita mengambil tema membuat topeng Halloween
dari sampah kemasan. Excited!

I am going to run craft workshop for children 
at this big book shop in Jakarta from this month
until December. I have been giving workshops
here before but this is the first time I am going to
have a regular craft workshop of my own. For the
theme this month we will make Halloween Mask
from recycle paper packs. Yay!

me and book: a lithograph book

Buku berbahasa Belanda yang dikeluarkan oleh Nestle ini

saya temukan di tempat yang sama saya memperoleh

majalah-majalah fesyen tua yang cantik-cantik itu. 

Yang membuat saya sangat sangat senang adalah semua

gambar di dalam buku ini masih menggunakan tehnik

litograf yang sudah tidak ada lagi sekarang. 

Just like those gorgeous vintage fashion magazines, I got this

book also in the same place but from different seller. I believe

they all original lithograph made by Nestle in the 50's in Dutch

explaining on everything interesting about Indonesia not only

its wildlife but also some of the local people clothes and all.

Such a delicate and delicious book, indeed. 

One of those days when a dream come true

Saya belum pernah mencetak satupun kolase saya dalam
ukuran sebesar ini. Hampir 2 meter. Dicetak diatas canvas
dan hasilnya memang luar biasa. Terimakasih teman-teman!

This is my first ever huge canvas print of my WHY collage
piece in a two meters canvas. It's a custom order from a 
friend to decorate his amazingly beautiful office space.

even science books are pretty back then

Saya menemukan buku-buku sains retro terjemahan ini
tertumpuk di belakang sebuah toko buku lawas di Bandung.
Saya suka sekali dengan foto, model serta jenis huruf yang
digunakan untuk judul buku ini apalagi perpaduan warnanya.

These retro science books for children were found at the back
of an old book shop in Bandung. The titles of these books are
'living creatures', 'magnet', 'heat' and 'gravity' and I just love
everything about them!
